New updates have been published for CT59 – Install and Monitor Vapor Barriers. The course explains and evaluates temporarily sealing a portion of pipeline with a plug or isolation tool to create a vapor barrier preventing hazardous vapors from entering a hot work area; and recognizing and reacting to abnormal operating conditions. This additional update includes the expansion of Skills Assessment criteria covering the installation of mud plug and mechanical vapor barriers and the monitoring of vents and vent valves.
